Manuscript Evaluation

You have a draft ready for revisions, and while you’re feeling stuck with how to start, you also don’t want to dive into substantive edits quite yet. A manuscript evaluation is a quick way to get feedback on your whole story, without going page-by-page.

As your editor, I will read through your entire manuscript at least twice (I’m serious!) and provide an editorial letter to give suggestions for revisions, as well as encourage you to continue writing. You will gain an overview of your story from start to finish.

The best part? It’s faster than having me go through each page or chapter of your novel with a fine tooth comb, but you still receive helpful feedback.

  • Editorial letter that summarises suggested changes, a revision plan, strengths, weaknesses, and more.
  • Provides feedback on plot, character, theme, structure, worldbuilding, pacing, dialogue, and more.
  • Quick turnaround rate, between 5 and 10 days.

While a free sample edit is not available for this service, I encourage you to contact me to discuss your story so I can get hyped up to read it!
